The AK-ROWDIES want to see you at a game! Whether you’re a current Zip cheering from the student section, a former Zip reliving your glory days or a community member rooting for the home team, everyone is bound to have a good time.
Check out the men’s basketball and women’s basketball schedules and catch a game before the season ends. Grab your besties, family, coworkers, whoever and make it a fun outing! Home games are played at Rhodes Arena on UA’s campus, just minutes from Downtown Akron, East End and West Hill neighborhoods.
One to watch — The University of Akron’s men’s basketball team is taking on rival Kent State University on Friday, February 28. Tickets are sure to sell out, so grab yours now. This UA team has the longest winning streak in the country (14 games!) and is undefeated in the MAC Conference.

The RoundUp 2025 - The Exchange of Bicycles and Bicycle Parts

Welcome to the inaugural year for The RoundUp! The idea for the show evolved from the act of “rounding up” a group of like-minded bike enthusiasts as well as “rounding up” all your extra bike parts gathering dust and clearing out room for some new gear.
🗓 THIS Saturday 2/22/2025 from Noon to 6pm
📍 Missing Falls Brewery’s Event Space, 540 S Main St, Akron, OH 44311

The event will be open 12-6pm on February 22 at Canal Place in Akron, Ohio in the event room of Missing Falls Brewery. Local cycling small businesses from Northeast Ohio and Michigan will be on-hand as well as tables of private sellers open for business.
In addition to the vendor tables, The RoundUp will also be collecting food goods for the Akron Canton Regional Foodbank as well as a 50/50 raffle with proceeds being donated as well.
The show is free to visit but don’t forget that wallet for some cycling goods or a delicious burger and beverage from Missing Falls.
Akron’s favorite DJ Brainwreck will also be there playing the best tunes that will get your toes tapping and your hips moving! Just ask anyone who attended the 2024 Post Malone tour VIP parties or anyone who’s been to Baxter’s Speakeasy on a Saturday night. (Including after The RoundUp, starting at 9pm.)
